What it is

Foundations is the learning layer of Bonduran. It answers the questions most families have before they sign anything: which documents exist, which ones apply to their situation, and what order to handle them in. It is reading and orientation, not paperwork.

Who it is for

You are early in the process. Estate planning matters to your family, but you are not yet sure whether you need a will, a trust, or both, and you would like to understand the vocabulary before you sit down with an attorney.

What you get

You have decided to get your plan in order this year and you want structure rather than a blank page. It also suits anyone whose records are currently spread across a filing cabinet, an email account, and a drawer nobody else knows about.

Families where more than one person is involved: spouses planning together, or adult children helping a parent keep records organized and current. It is the right plan when the question is not only what the documents say, but who is able to find them.

Everything in Heirloom, including guided preparation, the vault, and the attorney-ready summary.
Shared access for up to six family members on a single subscription.
Per-document access controls, so a sibling can see the healthcare directive without seeing the financial records.
Activity history on shared files, showing who opened or updated what, and when.

Legal advice. Wider access does not change what Bonduran is.

Monthly billing

Paid plans are billed monthly and renew on the same date each month. The price listed on this page is the price you pay, with no setup fee and nothing added at checkout.

7-day money-back guarantee

Heirloom and Heirloom Family both carry a 7-day money-back guarantee. If the plan is not the right fit, ask within seven days of your first payment and we will refund it in full.

Cancel any time

You can cancel from your account settings whenever you like. There is no phone call to make and no retention process to sit through. Cancelling returns your account to Foundations rather than closing it, so you keep the free library.

Upgrades and downgrades

Moving between plans takes effect on your next billing cycle. The plan you are on now runs to the end of the period you have already paid for, and your documents stay exactly where they are through the change.

FAQ

Questions about plans and billing

Can I switch between Heirloom and Heirloom Family later?

Yes, in either direction, from your account settings. The change takes effect on your next billing cycle. Your prepared documents and vault contents stay in place, and on the family plan you choose which members can see each file.

What happens to my documents if I cancel a paid plan?

Your account returns to Foundations and you keep the free library. Download or export the documents you prepared before your paid period ends. We suggest keeping your own copy of anything important regardless of which plan you are on.

Does Heirloom Family cost more than six separate accounts?

No. Heirloom Family is $39 per month in total for up to six members, not $39 each. Members you invite do not need their own subscriptions.

Does the money-back guarantee apply to every plan?

It applies to the two paid plans, Heirloom and Heirloom Family. Foundations is free, so there is nothing to refund.

Do I still need an attorney if I pay for a plan?

Yes, for anything specific to your circumstances. A paid plan organizes your decisions and produces a summary a licensed attorney can review. It is preparation for that conversation rather than a replacement for it.
